Jack Lawrence has had an enviable career resulting in an impresive catalog of world renowned songs. He is the composer and/or lyricist of such evergreens as "All of Nothing at All," "If I Didn't Care," "Sleep Lagoon," "Beyong the Sea," "Poop People of Paris," "Linda" (which was written for five-year-Linda Eastman, now Paul McCartney's wife), "Yes, My Darling Daughter," "Hold My Hand" (for which he recieved an Academy Award nomination), "Tenderly" and many more which have been the making of starts such as The Inkspots, Dinah Shore, Buddy Clark and Bobby Darin. He has written for such films as Peter Pan, The Lady Eve, Susan Slept Here, Sleeping Beauty and The Pawnbroker. His Broadway writing credits include the musical, I Had a Ball. He added another triumph to his career - theatrical producing - with the long running Lena Horne: The Lady and Her Music, and produced a new musical Tallulah, Bahlin' with libretto by Allen Alfred Lewis, music and musical supervision by Harold Wheeler (Lena Horne, Dreamgirls, Little Me) and words and music by Jack Lawrence.
