Carol (she/her) is the founder and Executive Director of Wild Horse Productions in Carson City, NV. A graduate from SUNY in Arts Management, Carol’s career spans over three decades in various spheres of the arts and arts education. Her multifaceted involvement includes directing, producing, designing, managing, and (occasionally) acting in more than 300 productions. In 2007 Carol founded her third non-profit company, Wild Horse Productions, which is comprised of 2 divisions – Wild Horse Children’s Theater, ages 5-18, and Wild Horse Stage Company, ages 19 and up. Prior to this, she successfully founded and led two other non-profits, namely BAC Stage Kids in Carson City, NV, and Little Tomato Children’s Theater in Ontario, Canada. Throughout her career, Carol has been a catalyst for innovative artistic and educational programs. As a seasoned children's theater director, she has created captivating and memorable performances that resonate with audiences of all ages and showcases her deep commitment to cultivating a supportive environment where young performers can thrive, learn, and discover their unique artistic voices. Beyond her directorial role, Carol is a passionate advocate for arts education. During her time in Canada, she served as a teaching artist and played a pivotal role in developing the pilot program "Learning Through the Arts" through The Royal Conservatory. She has actively contributed to developing innovative programs that integrate performing arts into education, believing in the transformative power of theater as a tool for learning and personal growth.
