Celebrated MTI Author and Friend, Thomas Meehan, Dies at 88
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of celebrated and Tony Award-winning MTI Author and friend, Thomas Meehan, at the age of 88.

Thomas Meehan's prolific contributions to musical theater started with his Broadway debut in 1977 with the international success and Tony Award-winning hit, Annie. He received his second Tony Award for his work on The Producers in 2001, and his third in 2003 for his work on Hairspray.
Additional book-writing credits include Cry-Baby, Rocky, Elf the Musical and Young Frankenstein.
Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends and loved ones.
