About Nicole Lea Mann
Nicole Mann discovered her love of theatre when she was cast as "Louisa" in her 8th grade production of Sound of Music. After several years of performing in community theatre and college plays, she found a way to merge her passion for drama with her desire to become a teacher. Nicole graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in theatre and secondary education, and she has never looked back. She has been with The Anthony School for 15 years, and is proud of the award-winning performing arts department she has developed. Nicole has directed more than 50 school productions with actors ages 4-years-old through high school.
About The Anthony School
The Anthony School, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, is the state’s oldest, non-sectarian, independent school. The school educates children ages three through 8th grade in a challenging and nurturing environment, engages them through an advanced curriculum, and empowers them to become independent and excited students. The Anthony School believes that individuality builds confidence, creativity, and innovation, and has a strong commitment to performing arts. Preschool and elementary students perform in their grade’s yearly musical production. Middle school students may participate in their fall production as a cast member, or they may choose to work in lighting/sound or set and costume design. Our performing arts department works closely with our other fine arts programs to ensure each student has the opportunity to enhance their core subjects.
