A member of the Freddie G Class of 2015, Debbie has owned and operated the children's theatre, Durant Road Musical Theatre , in Raleigh, North Carolina, along with her husband, Dean, since 2001. DRMT produces approximately 6 Broadway Junior shows a year with students ranging from 4th to 12th grade. Students from DRMT have received top honors at JTF Atlanta and Musical Theatre Competitions of America and are continuously looking for new performance and travel opportunities to hone their skills. Before her "mom job" as a director, Debbie worked professionally in the Los Angeles theatre community and was cast as the original Princess Luna for the Sanrio Toy Company in Tokyo, Japan. Favorite Broadway Junior shows include James and the Giant Peach, Honk, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Peter Pan, Xanadu, Music Man and High School Musical 2. Favorite roles include Grace in Annie, Nellie in South Pacific and Patty Simcox in Grease.
