Carl’s passion for musical theatre started from an early age. His parents met while participating in amateur theatre, and from a young age, Carl was immersed in local theatre productions. As a teenager, he took on leading roles in numerous MTI shows, including Les Misérables School Edition, Fiddler on the Roof, and his personal favourite, Chess the Musical.

Carl pursued his love for musical theatre at university, where he honed his skills and knowledge. After graduating from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he travelled the world, performing on cruise ships and visiting over 97 countries.

After six years of travelling, Carl decided to settle down and joined MTI in January 2024, bringing his wealth of experience and passion for musical theatre to the organisation.
