Michael Stockler

Michael Stockler received a National Endowment for the Arts grant to complete the musical arrangements for Quilt, and "Victim of AIDS," from Quilt, was featured in Here's To Our Friends (MAC award winner 1992-best revue). At Playwrights Horizons, Michael worked on six productions, including She Loves Me, Company, Survival Kitsch, Four Jews in a Room Bitching and March of the Falsettos. Other credits as musical director include Little Mary Sunshine with Jean Stapleton, club acts at The Ballroom, Mickey's and Onstage, and numerous productions at summer theatres. Michael composed music for professional productions of Sleuth, Charley's Aunt and Count Dracula. With James D. Stern, Michael also produced a revue of his own music, Starting Small, as well as two of Israel Horovitz's The Wakefield Plays at the Harold Clurman Upstairs.
