Parent/Student Guides
I feel a duty to present this show in order to raise discussion. Is there a simple study guide or resource manual that other organizations have used to assist youth and parents find responsible answers to their questions? Or to stimulate dialogue about the topics raised in the show?

Adding ensemble to "Spelling Bee?"
Has anyone seen/done a version of Spelling Bee where extra cast members are added to sing some of the songs, just to get more kids involved in the show? I can't imagine how, as everyone obviously needs to be eliminated, but I was trying to think about it like "A Chorus Line," where the large group started and ended the show.

little mermaid jr.
Hello,I was considering Willy Wonka for my elementary Drama Club, but now that I see Little Mermaid, Jr. is available for licensing, I am thinking about choosing it instead. I work with a large group (my Seussical, Jr. had 81 participants).I have one boy who I would really like to feature - he was Jojo in last year's Seuss Jr. Since I am not too familiar with the Little Mermaid songs for this version, can anyone tell me which male part would have the most featured singing? I would really like to showcase his talent, and it will be his last year in elementary school, so I want to make sure I at least consider him for the appropriate role.Thank you!

Appropriate for Elementary School?
Hello, I'm wondering from those who have done this show before, if it would be appropriate for 4-5th graders. I only ask because I know the original B'way musical has themes of violence and alcoholism among other "adult themes." Have these things been changed at all for the Jr. version, or are they true to the original? For example, does Sarah still get drunk in Havanah??Thanks!
