Cindy Says, Broadway Junior
I just said bravo and waved farewell to 30 teachers from across the country at our annual iTheatrics Junior Teaching Intensive in New York City. Observing teachers as students and soaking up new ideas that can change the way THEY work with kids is always a treat, but the joy of collaboration and resources they share together may be the highlight for me. They not only head to the airport with new friends and colleagues, but also exciting new perspectives on every element of putting on a show. It reminded me that many of you might welcome a reminder of some of the RESOURCES that are available to you. Here are a few you may want to take advantage of:
- The iTheatrics Method – The quintessential guide to creating quality musical theatre programs. GIA publications. Well yes, we are proud!
- E- perusals for each Broadway Junior show from MTI. The only way to choose a title!
- Questions and Answers for Broadway Junior Musicals in the MTI website Help section. I love hearing from you - plain and simple.
- Broadway Junior official Logo Packs and Logo T-shirts for each show. Professional and easy.
- Performance Accompaniment CD and Choreography DVD. These golden resources have changed teachers lives! How did we live without them?
- Audition Central (pre-selected audition materials) on the Broadway Junior website. An invaluable time-saver for seamless casting.
- The wealth of ideas from colleagues in this crazy and wonderful world of producing musicals with kids. A selfless, sharing community. Just ask, anytime.
