Following successful performances in New Orleans, the talented kids of the Crescent City Lights Youth Theater will be presenting selections from the newly released musical CAPTAIN LOUIE JR. at the 2011 Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta.
Based on the book "The Trip" by Ezra Jack Keats, CAPTAIN LOUIE JR. is a story is full of tricks and treats, and the incomparable music and lyrics of Stephen Schwartz. Most of all, CAPTAIN LOUIE JR. is a story about friendship --our abilities to make new friends and the importance of keeping old ones.
The Crescent City Lights Youth Theater, a program of Stage to Stage, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit corporation, is dedicated to providing quality performing arts opportunities for young people while teaching them the life and job skills necessary for success in any field.
