So you want to do Disney’s The Little Mermaid but you don’t want to fly actors or put them on roller skates? We have the answer.
The PAC (Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center) has an in-house production team and they (with the assistance of Imaginigami of North Carolina) have created an affordable and deceptively simple solution to the problems faced in producing Disney’s The Little Mermaid by combining puppetry elements from around the world, with Japanese theatre techniques, simple projections and modern dance elements. Think of it as “The Little Mermaid by way of The Lion King.”
Designed for an adult cast many of the rentals can be adapted to the junior version of the show as well. The rental includes over 40 puppets and props and numerous costume pieces which can be rented in two week increments in a variety of packages, individual or en masse depending upon your needs and budget.
And we’re here to help in any way we can. We have character breakdowns, reference drawaings and phtoos and free advice and are happy to work with you via email, skype, prerecorded training videos and if need be in person to ensure that your production goes… ahem… swimmingly.
