Costs for materials and performance rights
Hello! I am looking to do "Jungle Book Kids" with our summer theater youth workshop in 2018 and need to write up an estimated cost. Could you get me the estimated cost for materials, performance rights etc.? We are a non-profit, community theater. We would have two performances and we only house about 300 people in our theater. We would want to purchase the video license as well. Thanks for your help! Desiree Brown

Non-Diverse Cast
My Middle School students have expressed enthusiasm in doing Hairspray JR. next year. However, unfortunately our school, or cast, does not have a large diverse population. I'm wondering if and how this can be adapted for my students, while still staying true to the story.

Also lacking diversity in casting, wondering how other people dealt with this?
Hi! Kind of in the same boat as everyone else - I'm directing for a summer camp that's not super ethnically diverse, is there a way to address this without being disrespectful? If anyone has any ideas, please email me at morganingari@gmail.com. Thank you!

How about making it a movie?
I was in this play as Shere Khan a few months ago, and recently, I thought of turning it into a little YouTube movie that mostly wouldn't take place in a building - it'd be filmed outside. I don't know if filming it is allowed, though. Must it strictly be a play, or is making it a movie okay?
