What would you do to keep your 15 minutes of fame?
1660 Vine looks into life as a social media influencer: creating and maintaining an artificial online identity that pleases sponsors, brands, and tens of millions of followers as the disconnect between your true self and your online self grows.
1660 Vine is an ensemble story of makeup artists, models, pranksters, gamers, and other aspiring influencers who have found community in the luxury Hollywood apartment building they call home: 1660 Vine Street.
A tale torn from your social media feed, 1660 Vine was created by a diverse team of storytellers drawing from their own life experiences. The film is directed by Patricia McGregor, Artistic Director of New York Theater Workshop, choreographed by the legendary Paula Abdul, and with music supervision from the team that oversaw the High School Musical franchise.
Set to the beat of a joyful, passionate score, 1660 Vine is perfect for our social media-crazed landscape.
