It is with a tremendously heavy heart that the entire Music Theatre International family salutes a theatrical legend in his final curtain call.
Joseph Stein, Tony Award-winning librettist of Fiddler on the Roof, The Baker's Wife, and Enter Laughing, passed away on October 24th. A native of New York City, Mr. Stein was 98 years old, and will long be remembered for his ability to craft dialogue that was both heartwarming and hysterical.
