How to add Ensemble into Singin In the Rain

Hi! I'm considering a handful of awesome musicals for our Spring season, and Singin' in the Rain is high on our list. How have you added in Ensemble into the show? Which numbers were they in? We have a cast of approx 50 high schoolers.Thanks!!!
